I just found out that D.Gray Man's mangaka is a woman. It does explain a lot of things: The saccharine sweet bond between Allen and Lenalee, the pretty boy main characters, the serious tones of the story... There's something very different about it from other shonen manga... I wish it would stop being on hiatus. Haha.

When it is not abused or taken out of context, the idea that the truth sets you free is, well, true...
