The Way back home..
.. has been really interesting these past few days. I refer to the path leading from the nearest bus stop from my house. On the first day, the moon was incredibly round and bright. On the second day there was this chio girl who was walking her dog , and that was good too. On the third day I saw this huge, lone rabbit chewing on grass near a tree... 'Why haven't I ever thought of owning a rabbit?' That was the conclusion that I and brother came too when we saw it.
I watched the Harry Potter V movie on Sunday, and finished the seventh book as well. I still don't find her idea very appealing but it was an absorbing read and it's nice how she makes it a point to reveal secrets and revelations one by one. The movie was rather hard to stomach; it was more akin to Harry Potter the Summary. I also had a case of bad breath I think.... I... I blame it on my retainers..yeah.
And then there was that rather embarrassing scene that followed on that night =/ hehe. But the bridge of friendship was apparently long and strong enough to cross the gap of that trying experience. DON'T DO IT AGAIN. Haha..
I met up with kader and jevon on Monday. One of the conversations was rather.. unsettling. I'm sad about the way he felt I suppose, having misinterpreted my intentions completely (but understandably). Will try to be more vigilant in keeping contactable with my friends. Haven't done that so well for the past month or so. The following conversation was a lot better though. I learnt a lot of things that I hadn't known, or perhaps had not tried to know, and I saw a different side of things that I was not used to seeing. I guess... Maybe I just didn't pay enough attention..
So apparently I have a neutral face and its hard to distinguish whether people like us are being serious or not.... Maybe it'll make working life harder or something, and maybe it just pisses of my friends sometimes (Well that's probably a fact), but I kinda like things that way, aha. At least for just awhile more, anyway.
Oh yes we ran into Raj from CJC. Apparently he's studying in Canada now, and living there has given him an accent just like my OC. Haha. Cool.
My right eye has developed some minor astigmatism. Is this something that required immediate correction? Does anybody know?
I saw the kind of vest that I wanted to get at Queensway, but it was the wrong cut and the quality wasn't very good. Its not like I'm very particular about this.. I'm not going to fork out 200 bucks for something from Brooks Brothers but I hope I can find something in the middle, soon...
I still have lots of books left to read and re-read... Gotta prioritize them:
1. Violence and the Illusion of Destiny
2. Attachments
3. Keeping Faith
4. For One More Day
5. The Four Loves
And then after I'm done, I can get my next Dragonlance Book!
