The Merlion took one for the team. It feels a little ominous to me, given the current economic downturn. Still, it's plenty awesome.
I've had a few bouts of bad luck recently, the most entertaining of which was when I referred to the wrong Gandhi (The deceased president, not Mahatma) during class discussion, in front of a teacher who was a native Indian.

Same sentiments moey, when i saw the news of the national icon getting a headshot from above. it's the first i've heard.
The stabbing incident at your sch is also the first i've heard. pretty shocking and sad.
Haha it was a lady.
A part of me thinks that they ought to just leave it the way it is, but another part feels like it's a bad omen =/
Yeah it is pretty sad, though life in school has carried on quite peacefully.
