Time

Accidentally. Accidently. Hmmm. Didn't know accidently was an actual word...

You have been impregnated with many misconceptions.

Marjoram ditches Auel, and continues the journey with two of his childhood friends, blood elves by the names of Mirrisken and Aueralis. But many things have changed in the two years that they left each other's company. Mirrisken is now a holy warrior of the light, a paladin who strives to right injustices and comfort the downtrodden. Aueralis, as seductive and beautiful as ever, chose instead to follow the paths of darkness as a warlock, reveling in the pain and destruction caused by her spells of shadow and flame. Marjoram's priestly soul is torn in two, one parting turning towards the light and another part yearning for the shadows.

He mulls over these thoughts while cooking low quality food over a campfire and mixing delicate spell components to make potions. Suddenly, Aueralis casts a bolt of shadow energy at him. Marjoram is completely caught offguard as he mind becomes numb with fear and anxiety. He runs around flailing his arms as his skin melts from the flames of the warlock's dark magics. Falling to his knees, he feels the warmth of the holy light upon his face. It is Mirrisken who extends his arm towards Marjoram. He helps Marjoram to his feet, but in the next moment, shoves him to the ground and draws his weapon to pummel him.

The two people he called friends attack him ceaselessly for the rest of the night. Then they apologise the next morning, saying they were drunk. Marjoram swears to himself in secret that he will one day repay them for the mindless humiliation. Someday soon....
