Hold me now, I'm six feet from the edge, and I'm thinking...

It occurred to me that those of us who tirelessly train to improve an ability, don't do it simply for the sake of perfecting a technique; we do it to get a hold of that incredible feeling, the feeling we get when what we will to happen seems to correspond perfectly with changes to our surroundings. It's that moment when technique is no longer an issue, and desire is the only thing needed to make a difference...

The last two days have been productive, and now I'm sitting here left with two stories to write, one story to edit, and one poem left undone. The trouble is that it's a love poem, and it has to be original. Meh. They're ridiculously hard to write. The assignment that had us imitate Catallus (THE poet of poetry about love and passion) was hard enough.

Anyway, one of the poems was an assignment where you had to write something that let your personality shine through as much as possible. After much contemplation and self-reflection, I decided to be as ridiculous as possible. The following is what resulted:

"Level Ninety-Nine"

Ninety-nine, ninety-nine,
Level ninety-nine!
Dual spec-ed and fully buffed
And now I'm doing just Fine!

Ninety-nine, ninety-nine,
Level ninety-nine!
I'm a fire-ballin' wizard
and the magic is Mine!

Ninety-nine, ninety-nine,
Level ninety-nine!
Doesn't matter that I can't get girls
to drink with me-Wine!

Ninety-nine, ninety-nine,
Level ninety-nine!
It's okay because tonight's main course
is Noob-I shall Dine!

Ninety-nine, ninety-nine,
Level ninety-nine!
A lowly creep has dropped phat lewt
I think it's a Sign!

Ninety-nine, ninety-nine,
Level ninety-nine!
The screen is blank, the plug is out-
My Mom's crossed the-Line!
