I finished my first parade last friday. I guess I'm reluctant to leave the company of the rest of the guys back in Shift 1, but I do enjoy what I'm doing so far, and it's rewarding to complete a parade that's up to standard.. Though I guess I could use more arm strength training or it might hurt my arm joint to continue..
I handed Shawn the whooping he deserved just a few hours back. Heh, that should shut him up a bit for the next few weeks, and it seems as if every one really enjoyed themselves during the dota session. I think that now I'm absolutely comfortable with toning down on my games for the next few weeks. Playing with Ooi today makes me think that he is a person who makes an effort to be humble and not to get carried away with himself... He's probably quite a self-conscious person, and at the same time he is quite conscious of others. Seems like he is the kind of guy who would rather give way than argue, and he thinks a lot before he does anything of importance, though perhaps it is not so good to be excessive on this point.
I've been making more of an effort to read and understand my Bible recently, although my own personal choices have probably left me with some setbacks. In any case, I'm glad that I'm starting to find more people who I can ask questions to and share my doubts with.
I guess I'm partially okay with where I stand now. There's still toto much time that I'm not using properly, and there's still too many things lefet unsettled. My family, the way I deal with my friendships, my future being the bulk of these problems. My eyes are so tired from playing just now. Did I end up spoiling my eyes more just so I could beat that guy? I feel silly now to have acted that way. If it is possible, I should put more effort into not having to feel this way at all in the future.
