X

Today my brother became 13. And the annual height comparison reveals that he's getting ridiculously tall.Hmmm... Aaron and Wanyi's birthdays are coming up soon as well =)

Aaron and Chris came over today for what is apparently the first time in years... Haha these kinds of shitty discoveries make me feel older =/ Showed them some of the stuff I'd been mentioning for some time, and played some SC3 and Gundam.. Enjoyed spending the time with you guys... Looking forward to clearing some off together in August when Alex comes back =)

What happened on Saturday gave me something to think about. Now I've got myself a pretty good view from the top.. NDP practices at Suntec are damn relaxed. Can't wait for this week to be over.

I spent too many hours recklessly these last 3 days.

Today's my first time...

...going to a cell/small/care group..... I'm glad that it was a positive experience and the environment was not as uncomfortable as I'd thought it'd be. Haha, I even met 3 (or was it all 4?) of the people who were part of that uncomfortable first experience durign church camp.

I think this is only the SECOND time I've asked you whether you have a new blog. Really.

I'll stop asking. Granted, it's true that I have a lot of problems when it comes to other people's blogs, but we know that already. As to why I keep asking... Maybe I like an easy way of knowing what's on your mind, or perhaps I have a deeper, darker, sinister, perverted, diabolical motive... you never know =/ Just keep on following your heart, that's the way to happiness unending!

Good things that have happened lately... I got my appetite and my weight back... Found a really cool souvenir item for my anime-watching friends... finished my shen diao xia lu, developed my ownage nerubian assassin... Naruto is getting a lot better, quality-wise... I'm going to eat a lot of sushi some time soon...

Damn, that was a really bad movie.

Damn, that was a really bad movie.

Watched the really bad movie on sunday with chris, wanyi, and aaron. It was bad, not to mention obscenely long in view of the minimal content. It was nice to play the drumming game though... $1 a pop. Snice.

I'll make it a point to bring my winter assault jacket every time I go out with you guys =/

Mmm... Preparing stuff for church camp really kept me busy and on edge... I realize now during post-camp that it was kind of a satisfying feeling. Now I gotta do other stuff, but there are no deadlines. Sigh.

Post Camp

Church camp was an eye-opening experience. Like, my eyelids were metaphorically torn out so that the opening would be larger and little sub-eyes sprouted out from them. . . Well not quite. Eye-opening in an 'across the board' good way.

I guess the most obvious ways I was blessed was in the opportunities I got to meet tons of new people in my church, notably people in my sunday school class who i did not know (wish I'd paid more attention), and the older generation of brmc people who were really helpful when I was trying to do certain things. I even talked a lot with this guy who has the exact same birthday as me!

Mmm.. New Blogger saves drafts automatically. S'nice.

I became a lot less self-conscious during worship sessions, and I count that as a really great change to have experienced. I also got to see and learn about a lot of new things firsthand through extremely Shotgun experiences.

Sad things that happened.... I changed 70 sing to 150 ringgit, but I didn't get to spend a single cent of it!

I guess I've got a lot more things on my mind, but I can't yet find an appropriate way to express them in blogging form. I figure I'd like to sum up this entry on a positive note for once. It's been a hectic four days of running around and carrying towels and5 hr bus rides, but at the end of it I've found it's easier to feel a sense of belonging to my church and to cherish the good things that people are doing inside it.
