'It was said that the Gods wove lotus blossoms into her ebony hair, and fashioned her eyes from stars. Roses were ashamed to blossom in the presence of her ruby lips...' - Sheldon from 'The Big Bang Theory', while he was infatuated with Raj's Indian friend.

ORD LO!
Traditionally, I ought to have posted a retrospective, overly-sentimental entry about my army life and how I would miss my friends there. Unfortunately the last few days since ORD (It's only been 6 days) are a bit of a blur in my head, and I don't really find myself missing them as much as I thought I would. Lol. We still meet up here and there, so I think I'll only start missing them after a few months.
Another wave of friends is flying overseas again. I went to Changi with the rest to see YiCheng off on Saturday morning. Haha. I hope he'll set up his Enter-the-Dragon blog soon. PJ flew off on Monday but I didn't catch him since I was staying over at Mark's house for a night of amateur film-making. Marky's flying off on Friday. Sigh.
I saw my cousins for the first time in a year. The meeting made me feel old, like Stan's Dad in South Park if that means anything to you. To be more specific, I felt outdated, antiquated, relegated, and fossilized. Haha. They're all around the JC age, which is 17-18, and the conversations have become much more mature than they used to be. Getting used to all these new things is a bit tiring... This must be what it feels like to get old. Haha.
Yesterday was the first time that I felt totally at ease in a cell group session. It was fun to listen to and talk with the rest of them, and I didn't feel pressured or tense. I'm pretty glad that I can fully enjoy sessions there now, even though the bacteria-ridden carpet still pushes me towards an early demise with every breath of air I take =/
Life without army is good.

ORD in 3 days time!
While I was at church today, I saw a whiteboard at the drinks stall. The following words were written upon it:
--------------------------------------------
Today's Special
Michael Jackson
Grass jelly drink + Soya bean milk
--------------------------------------------
It's quite nice to find little bits of humor in such unimaginable places. Haha.
I attended Disciple class in the afternoon. It really eats up my Sunday, but I think that it's worth it, overall. I don't feel that it's perfect.. Well it's not my kind of perfect, haha. Ah well. Time will tell more.
The chalet experience can be summed up by 5 activities:
1) All-night LAN/Mahjong
2) Tau Pok
3) Cards
4) Eating
5) Stuff that you only do at night, with lighters and heavy liquor
I went with Samuel, Pei Hao , and David to eat pizza and play Lan at Cyberdome. I remember that Cyberdome was the very first lan shop that I ever visited, back in the days when Lan was $5 an hour. Hahaha. We did an all-nighter and paid for it with $14 and smashed bio clocks. Coincidentally, I also met some other good friends around the Plaza Singapura area, haha. Hope we'll have a proper meeting-up soon =)
My grammar has become worse, due to a combination of factors ranging from reading too many KJV Bible verses (No proper grammar included), to talking cock too rapidly/rapaciously with the guys in camp. I've also spent a considerable amount of effort in trying to learn the proper usage of the punctuation mark, ' ; ', but to little avail.
